Only 4 brave souls showed up at UC at 5 o'clock to weather(literally)the elements(heat and humidity!). I knew it would not b pretty or easy, but definitely necessary to get some miles and time in tonight in the heat, so as to stay acclimated to the conditions. Myself, Glenn Baldwin, Aaron Alred, and John Greenwall(a.k.a JohnnyG!) Glenn and i were thinking about 6, me 4 to 6 easy and call it a day. Glenn,Aaron, and myself started off together for about a mile and a half then I slowed down and kept the HR in check. I did stop about every mile for about 10 to 15 seconds to cool down and drink fluids then back off again. It was hard but manageable with the rests. Glad to have this one in the books.Temp at UC at the finish was 97 degrees and WeatherBug said the dew point was 71
