Wanted one semi-decent set of mile intervals before Red, White & Boom half, so what better day to do it than when it's 90 degrees and humid outside. Mile spits are as follows:
Mile 1: 7:03
Mile 2: 6:59
Mile 3: 5:42
Mile 4: 5:45
Mile 5: 5:43
Mile 6: 6:33
Mile 7: 7:30
Mile 8: 8:01
Felt pretty dang exhausted after this workout. Those splits from miles 3 to 6 were tough in the heat and humidity. Hoping that going out at 6:10ish pace on Wednesday is sustainable for 13.1 miles. Woof?!?
