COMMENTS: PR on a tough course. We got started at 4:30 am By far the toughest marathon I've ever run but without question the most beautiful.
The designation as toughest road course holds. Constant up and down for 26 miles, including one 2 mile+ climb from 20 feet to nearly 600 feet between miles 10 and 13 - Believe it or not that is not the toughest section, the last 6 miles consist of one rolling hill after another, I managed to get over that hill without losing pace and even sprinted the last 100 yards to get in under 3:50 - beat it by 32 seconds - 3:49:48, a PR by 22 whole seconds!
