Solid final long run before Fargo!

Was feeling a bit tired in the early miles, but the further we went, the stronger I felt! Well, up until mile 16 -- and even then, I felt pretty good (but was ready to be done).

Only down side is my left foot was bothering me a little. I've had troubles the last month or two with the ball of my left foot feeling sore at around mile 10-12. No sharp pains or anything, more of a burning feeling. I've had the pain before --- used to get it in the balls of both feet when I hit 10 miles or so when I first started running longer distances. That part was only moderate today ... just felt it a bit from miles 11-12 or so. A bit more worrisome was around mile 7, I had about 1/4 mile where I had a few weird cramps on the outer part of the same foot.... but it only lasted that brief time and went away. But .... then right as that died down, I felt some odd achiness in the back of my left ankle. It was kind of achy for about 1-2 miles, then lessened up considerably and i didnt notice it at all the latter few miles. Never was any sharp or shooting pains at all. So far post run, I dont feel anything. Hopefully it was just my new shoe inserts. I do want to get in to see Jenna though ... I dont think I'm injured, but I think my hips continue to be a bit off balance .. which I suspect is causing me to hit a little harder on my left foot versus my right. I went & saw her a few times before Houston just to work out any tight areas, and that helped a lot ...so i think I'll do it again!
