Notes

just a couple of super easy miles, seeing how the leg will hold up. Almost stopped after .15 or so - it was not feeling good at all, so I turned around and was heading back to the car. But by the time I got back to the car, it had loosened up quite a bit so I went out a little further. Came back at 6am and ran a little bit more with the group. I wish I could say it was pain free, but it wasnt that bad either I guess.

The good news is it's feeling pretty decent now (in the evening), so at least the run didnt appear to do any damage. In fact, my dr and PT told me that with hamstring tendonitis, resting actually doesnt help all that much --- the inflammation will calm down, but only temporarily... until the next time you aggravate it. Eccentric exercises for the hamstring, glute and hip flexor is what they had me do before, which seemed to help. I did them yesterday and today -- hopefully keeping up on those will keep me on the path to feeling better. Kind of mad at myself for not keeping those up to begin with :(
