I planned to do this as a progression -- initially was thinking first 2 miles at 9:45s, second 2 at 930s and last 2 at 9:15 or so. I was a bit fast, but overall happy with how it went. I felt pretty good -- felt like about a 75-80% effort, except the last mile.
