Still pretty pokey on the bike, but I definitely enjoyed this ride much more than any of my other tri's this summer. I think I had a good back half, much faster. Was really slow at the start.
Only major issue was dehydration ... I was way more thirsty coming out of the swim than I had anticipated. I had a bottle of powerade at transition, and another on my bike. I knew the one on my bike wasnt going to be enough. I took a big drink at transition, then just tried to carefully meter it out during the ride. I definitely wished I had more, but I never felt like I was dying either and metered it out perfectly ... I had 2 gulps left at about mile 23.
