Meh to today's run! About a quarter mile in, my lower left hamstring decided it was very unhappy. After another mile or so, I stopped and stretched it, but it didnt really help. I dont think it was just a cramp, it was more of a deep ache and more concerning, it felt like it was affecting my stride. Oddly, it felt much better going up hills and much worse going down hills. Flats were so so. It did at least feel a bit better in the last 2 miles. But it doesnt feel overly great even just walking around.

It's very odd because (a) it's not the normal place it hurts (usually my high hamstring, where it attaches) and (b) it came so out of the blue. It was 100% fine yesterday, my entire run. I wasnt sore after my run. I wasnt sore this morning. I wasnt sore all week. I wasnt sore when I got to the run. Then boom out of the blue, it hurts. Hoping maybe i just took a weird step and tweaked it, but it has me concerned and not very happy.

I'll play it by ear tomorrow. I'll give it a go, and if it feels crappy, I'll bag it.
