My hamstring was pretty tight this morning.. not necessarily sore, but really tight. The first mile didnt feel so great, but then it loosened up and it actually feels a lot better now, after the run. It didnt hurt at all after my Tuesday or Friday workouts. On Tuesday I made conscious efforts to not overstride, and on Friday, it was harder to overstride doing the speedwork up a hill. But I think I definitely was overstriding yesterday, mainly in that last fast mile. I probably should not have gone that fast :(.

I went to PT this am and she agreed it was super tight and did some work on it. Also said that she thinks the real problem is my left glute isnt firing, so my hamstrings are doing all the work. Rob and I were kinda laughing on our run though -- I was like "can you tell if your glute is firing when you're running?" and he said nope. Well, I'll keep on the strength work, hopefully it'll keep helping out my hammy and glute.
