Wow! My most aggressive estimate for tonight was 24:42 and I figured that was a long shot, but I came pretty close!
I felt pretty good the first 4-5 laps or so; it felt sustainable. Lap 6 probably felt the worst, or really ... just felt the hardest mentally because I wanted so badly to be done and knew I still had 2 to go.
Our first lap was too fast, but other than that, we were pretty consistent for laps 2-6. Surprised I was able to go faster those last 2 laps.
My total time translates out to about a 25:17 5k -- which would be a 0:48 second PR!
Huge thanks to Roshini for keeping me going those last few laps .... we are a good balance, I keep her more consistent, and she's a bit faster, so she pushes me along speedwise.
