PR! :)
After my very long week of working a zillion hours and being very short on sleep, I didnt think I had this in me. This was a pretty hilly course, too. The third mile felt pretty terrible ... just wanted it to be over! Very happy with this effort though, and continue to feel encouraged. If I can PR by 38 seconds when I was feeling exhausted, then hopefully I will be able to build on this.
Side notes:
My first mile was slower than planned, as I started way too far back and got really log jammed with the fun runners.. it took me longer than I wanted to break free and really run. The first mile was also pretty hilly.
Also, I did not really go this slow for the last 0.1. As usual, I forgot to turn off my Garmin at the end, so I monkeyed with the overall time so it agreed with the official results. Looking at the graph on here, I went sub 8 for the last 0.1.
