Workout was supposed to be 3 warmup miles, then 8 x :30 strides with 1:00 recoveries. I'm not sure what happened on my watch - I think I accidentally started the wrong workout, probably an old one or something. It didnt click over to the strides part after 3 miles, and then my recoveries were only 45 seconds! I know I programmed it right too (I checked) so I'm guessing this was an old workout I've done before. At least I grabbed one that was almost what I was supposed to do -- just had 15 seconds shorter recovery! LOL!

Felt really good this am. And I feel good about the accuracy of my paces now -- I calibrated my footpod outside, then checked it at the Stadium the other night. It was almost dead on. So now I'm going by my footpod/Garmin times, not the treadmill (also somewhat validating -- I kept feeling like the paces on the treadmill were hard -- turns out the treadmill is fast. When the treadmill says I'm doing a 10:30, my watch says 10:05ish! Rob says it's the same thing for him).

Note: since i did this on the treadmill, just by nature the intervals start out slower and get faster as the treadmill works up to a faster pace. It takes maybe 20 seconds for it to get to the programmed pace.
