This was a really good race for me. I was surprised to get so close to sub-5, considering my fastest time this track season was a 5:13. I got out in front for the first lap or so, but got dropped by Brad and Bennett early on. Near the end, Dylan and Thomas caught me but I had a dirty kick on the last 30 meters, catching Dylan and almost getting Brad. I was extremely disappointed to be told I ran the ever-infamous 5 flat (although J-Klanc clocked me at 4:59), but I'll be down to 4:55 on the next meet.
