EZ with Kyle and Sara after hosting District E Relays at SHS. Didn't feel very good in the second half but it was a long day. 6:20 wake-up, get to SHS 7:50, take splits and coordinate non-competing athlete helpers, leave SHS 3:45.
Meet highlights were a win and SCHOOL RECORD in the 4x800m (2:01.6 for Chase, 2:06.2 for Declan, 2:04.4 for Jonathan, 2:02.8 for Niko), 2nd in the DMR (3:29.6 for Adam, 54.2 for Will, 2:06.6 for Chase, 4:47.6 for Giuseppe), and a win in the 1600 SMR (23.5 for Cristian Salvan, 26.7 for Chirantan, 56.6 for Finn, and 2:06.9 for Jonathan). It's wild how the school record felt inevitable this spring, but I'm thrilled for those guys and I hope it's some pressure off for them. I think all 4 can run PBs in other events and I would love to see them do it.
