Easy shakeout before the Mid-Wach League meet today. Felt pretty good and it was a beautiful morning.
At practice yesterday the high schoolers and I were talking about tracking volume with time vs miles and Shaun and Sean specifically asked if I ran something ending in .99 would I extend to hit the whole mile. I said no but I would extend to hit a round number of minutes if it was 30-45 seconds but not necessarily if it was less. First thing at the meet today they asked how many miles I ran during my run this morning and I hadn't checked yet, so it was pretty hilarious to tell them 3.99 miles. They were horrified.
