Not sure if it was the huge Vulfpeck pregame (shoutout to Hero Town and Disco Ulysses), the fact that this is one of my favorite workouts, or feeling my fitness come back, but this was GOOD. 8x3min on/1min off sharing the track with some dude walk/jogging in lane 1. Maybe came a little too close to him while passing once or twice in retrospect, oops.

Goal was 5:40 pace for the first one or two and work down. First was just under and second just a little faster than the first. Most were high 5:20s, coming through 800 in about 2:44 for reps 3 4 5 and maybe 6. Rep 7 a little faster at 2:42 through 800 and rep 8 coming through 2:39-2:40. Felt pretty easy the whole way through with just the last 2-3 reps taking some focus.

Felt REAL good tonight. I'm excited to do this workout again in a couple weeks, probably starting at 5:30 pace and working down just a little. Distance is a guess because I didn't pay close attention to where I was stopping or what my recovery distance was.
