Okay that is a wacky name for a road. Didn't look real closely at the name until logging this.
Today was better than I expected. Wasn't really bothered by the cold and my ankles felt much better than I expected. Feet got sore toward the end but not miserably so. Some quiet moments today but I think we all had a good time. Started hiking at 8am, got a little hail for a while that made the forest louder but didn't slow us down, then some brief snow, then more snow for the last hour of the hike. Great meal with Teddy, Kyle and Lucas after @ the corner. Good time all around, but we agreed that we should try to stop overpacking food in the future and the double rainbow is not cut out for this temperature. I probably needed to dress warmer, at least for the end of the day if nothing else. I also need boots/shoes that don't make my feet hurt so much, the oboz bridgers are too short for sure.
