Ran outside in Costa Rica, from Hotel Nacazcol, Guanacaste. Began running west toward the Golf of Papagayo. Ran most of the way to the beach Playa de Coca and back to the Hotel. Weather was perfect temperature probable in the low 80’s, but very low humidity and a relatively strong breeze. Was light outside when I started but, got very dark very fast. Very difficult run on the way back very few street lights, no edge lines in the road. Had a lot of difficulty determining when the road ended and the berm started especially into oncoming traffic. Tripped over something on the berm and fell skinning my knee a little. After that I began stopping when oncoming traffic came and starting after the traffic past. Elevation: 20-480’
