Notes

Dang California is hilly. I've been here for over two months and I haven't been able to complete a run without walking yet. Today was a good run. I went out and up over the power line hill and went around the hill to LaCosta. I can't remember the name of the street but it was where I looked at the three bedroom house at least four times. I then took the switchback trail to go back up to the water tower. Wow not only was the sun a challenge when I headed eastward but I had to walk several of the switchbacks because of the steepness. Some of the views were magnificent as you can see the Pacific and the inlet at LaCosta very well because it was a clear morning. The locals have been complaining about the humidity and I've noticed it has increased a lot from the last week of July until now. They all say that August is the worst month of the year.
