First interval workout of the fall season, and really the first since last August. Ouch. Plan was 5x1000m, 3 min recoveries. Screwed up the Garmin program, so I ran the first interval a bit long, and the first recovery was way long. Target 3:55-3:59, did:
0.65mi 4:09 (6:25mm)
1000m 3:58
1000m 3:57
1000m 3:56 (6:21mm)
1000m 3:59 (6:25mm)
so, pretty much right on. Ran the cool-down probably farther than I needed to (an extra 0.7mi!), so this probably should have been an 8-9 mile workout. Hopefully get the kinks worked out next week.
