COMMENTS: Nice race on a hillier course than expected. Much of the race was on running paths along the Canada del Oro wash river park, including an unpleasant stretch on broken concrete. Mile marker 3 was placed early. Was hoping to break 43 mins, and did by quite a margin. Went out too fast and faded on the hills at the end.
