We were going to do a longer run of 3 hours or so. I started out with shoes on that didn't have the pad under my foot, but then decided I needed the pad. Also, my left quad still hurts. It doesn't hurt to walk, only to run. I sat for a while and massaged it before running some more. This run was not a good indicator of how I'd actually feel a week after a 24 hour, if I didn't have what is looking more and more like an injury instead of just post race soreness.
