Notes

Spent the first mile in a crowd of walkers, spectators and slower pacers. I was at 10:30 at the .50 mark and worked to get it down as much as I could.

Felt pretty good throughout. I spent the entire race passing people in short bursts without getting passed too much myself. Ate my nummies about mile 6. I think the excitement of actually eating energized me for the next mile and I fell into a nice rhythm. Still don't know how to drink water while running. The first few I pretty much just choked on the water...the last, I took a small sip and poured the rest on my head. After each water station, I burst for about 5-10 seconds and then settled into my pace again.

Started my kick at mile 11...forgot to stop the gps at the end of the race, hence the slow pace in the last interval.

oh...and the parties were awesome through the race. Great environment (except for the cluster f at the beginning).
