I'm trying some new things. I usually do fasted cardio but for intervals and high intensity workouts I think I should eat something prior to be able to push myself. I'll continue to do fasted cardio for steady state low intensity workouts.
I also would like to try to reduce my carbs so that my body is using fat for fuel instead of glycogen. So this morning I ate a piece of avocado with coconut oil, a few almonds, and had a cup of coffee before my run. I was able to push myself but it was still pretty difficult. I'll continue to experiment with food to see what works for me.
