5x10k Hill, 1x Speed Hill. Kept the number of hills the same as last week but wanted to work them a lot harder. Danny and I started out right with each other for the workout. We each helped push each other to the top. During the first half I tried leading the beginning-middle part of the hill and Danny would take the second part. Then on the recovery I would take it harder and catch back up to Danny. On the 3rd one I was feeling that I had quite a bit left so I just kept it steady and waited to open up. On the last hill is when my legs felt the best, I visualized myself racing on each one of these and it seemed to help a lot during the workout along with having Danny right there with me. Great workouts so far this week and great job working together!! We only started to taper and we're already starting to get faster. I think wearing compression socks for this workout helped a lot as well.
