Notes
The roads and paths in and around the town are still pretty icy and slushy so I took the chance to head out on the shore road to kildary knowing that it was clear but hoping it would be fairly quiet of traffic which unfortunately it wasn't.
I reached kildary still feeling good and was toying with the idea of extending my run by turning off upto lamington but decided against it as I didn't give myself much hope of feeling so good by the time I got to the top so i stuck to my planned route and turned left onto a old section of the A9 running past Al Fayed's highland residence Balnagown Castle and down onto the A9. Luckily its only a short section of A9 before turning left at Delny and following the single track road to its end at Tomich/Newmore. I then turned left down Tomich brae across the A9 down Tomich road back to the leisure centre.
It was a nice relaxed run and i still felt pretty good by the time i had finished so all being well i might even try a shorter run tomorrow if i have the time and will power lol.
