I wore my VFF Sprints again for this walk/run mix. I did it a bit differently than yesterday in addition to an extra quarter mile. I used nose breathing as an awareness, but not as a limiter. I also tried to make the first run interval raise my HR at a lower rate than before. Near the end of the first run, cadence increased and so did HR. On the second run interval, I went from a walking cadence of 110 to a running cadence of 196 and my HR jumped 50 bpm in twenty seconds. It did something similar on the next. Later, cadence was a little lower and HR rise less dramatic. It is definitely a fine line trying to balance those two so I can run longer intervals without my HR getting too high.
