Notes
This was a BF walk/run. I have some form issues to work on. My cadence wasn't quite as high as it should have been. The 2nd and 3rd toes on my left foot went a little numb and a blister began forming on the ball at the base of those toes. My leaving a pebble stuck to the skin under my right big toe may have contributed to that. I eventually brushed it off after 1/4 mile or so. I let my HR get higher this time before walking to let it come back down. I still turned red by the end of the workout; no kipper snacks or squishy landings this time, though. I took HDR on/off photos of it with my iPhone. The HDR really made the red pop. Here's that image: http://www.flickr.com/photos/timbutterfield/8620954608 Here is the non-HDR image: http://www.flickr.com/photos/timbutterfield/8619854157 The crease in the skin is where the bottom of the HRM strap was. I'm not sure what is causing this discoloration. I have more investigation to do.
