Notes

After last Friday's workout, I developed an ache in my right foot in the medial cuniform area. I suspect this was the start of some TMTS symptoms. I was working on my form in an effort to remove the knee issues I had experienced. As part of that, I was trying to land more forefoot first instead of midfoot. With less support on the heel, more pressure was put on the bones of the arch. I gave it a bit of recovery time and decided to go out tonight anyway. I did wear my Inov-8 f-Lite 195 with just a bit of heel rise to reduce the pressure a bit. It helped, but the ache still increased throughout, even while walking. After a mile walk to warmup, I ran the next mile and then walked the remainder. HR still hit 160 during the run and it took half a mile of the walking to drop to my 135 MAF HR. I need more MAF work. Maybe I can do that over winter. Since my feel-o-meter is not accurate enough for that yet, I created a simple workout to enable the alarm.
