I wore my Altra Instincts for a strides workout. I did a slow warm up jog on the path by the lake and up and across the boat ramp to get to the parking lot. It was supposed to be 3x20m, but I ran a bit longer. A Google Earth measurement of that part of the parking lot indicated it was about 3x80m instead. I also pushed a bit on speed, peaking at a 232 cadence and a 5:21 pace. Sweet! I did a slow walk back to the start each time to let my HR fall back to 115 bpm. HR was good at the end of the first two at 155 bpm and 153 bpm, but peaked a bit higher on the third at 173 bpm. After a brief cool down jog down and across the boat ramp, I finished cooling down on the walk back home. It was a good workout, ending just a little while before the snow started.
