Surprised myself. Ran faster than expected
Bittersweet... was supposed to be running Twin Cities today, but everything happens for a reason I guess. I raced my first half lol and did well. I was hoping to go sub-1:13, maybe sub-1:12 and ended up running 1:10:22, which is 5:22/mile. Far exceeded expectations! I'm thrilled to be in this shape... and that was a hilly course! Finished 5th overall... Kenyans took 1st-3rd with times of around 1:05... I'll be there in a few years...
Goal change for Savannah... Sub-2:30!
