Nice evening long run. My legs were fairly tired before work this morning, but felt better by run time. NYC Marathon on TV was motivating. Like last week, I tried not to force my easy pace for the first hour and then picked it up slightly. Incredibly my pace increased by 30-45 second per mile while my HR only went up about 5-7 bpm. By mile 13 my legs were working hard while my HR stayed fairly constant in the upper 150's to 160. Here were my mile splits:
