Enjoying the taper and feeling good. Carb loading rocks! I've aimed for around 500g of carbs/day beginning on Saturday. This is actually a normal training day intake, but now I'm burning less. Funny thing is I dropped 2 pounds from yesterday's morning weigh in. Not sure I got enough fluid in me though, but strangely the same thing happened w/ my weight last year while carb loading and tapering. I'll try to increase carb intake to 700g today and 800+g tomorrow. I'll back down to the 650 range on Friday which will most likely be a rest day. I imagine those 2 pounds will show back up by race day, but will hopefully fuel me to a SUB 3 Marathon!
