Notes

Cloudy, not too cold, windy at the start, 36 deg. Plan was to go to the high school but not back through Stickytown. My left hamstring has been a little sore and I didn't want to make it worse. Took the usual way to the high school. Big snow storm yesterday so I wore my trail shoes since the sides of the road and sidewalks were slushy and slippery in places. Felt ok starting out and better once I got loose. Stopped to talk to Brian Gagnon who was out shoveling the end of his driveway. The sidewalk from the high school to Somerset was plowed so I took that. Good traction with the trail shoes. Ran all the way back on Penobscot to Maine Ave. Then took that over to Franklin and back the usual way. Stopped at Jon Cantin's to pick up a tag order. Started feeling the hamstring on the Franklin downhill. Backed off a little on the pace. Didn't get any worse. Pretty good run. Kinda feel like a need a day off. But more snow Thursday.

Gear: UA pants, short tech T, long cotton T, water pack
