Notes

Sunny, a bit windy, pretty warm but felt hot, 65 deg. Decided to run the new power lines loop. Run up the road and past the new veteran's clinic, crossed 108 and headed up the hydro road. Stayed on the new gravel trail and took the usual way across the bridge and crossed Falls hill. Ran up the first hill and most of the hills. I only hiked a couple of the steep hills. Started to feel the heat and my legs were getting really fatigued. By the time I got down to the trail that goes into the woods I was dizzy and spent. Had have my emergency GU. Walked and ate that. Felt like crap every time I tried to run. Hiked most of the way to the reservoir and didn't go around it. Ran some in the woods up to the High School trail but mostly hiked. Stopped at the top of the hill to recover before heading down. A breeze was coming up and I felt better running down the hill. Ran all the way down to the high school, then out to the front and headed for Hosmer. Slow pace but didn't feel horrible. Stopped at the Swift to splash my face and wring out my head band. Ran the rest of the way back and it felt like work. Not sure why I felt so crappy, it must have been running in the sun. Not used to it. Should've had a GU before I started. I got it done any way, after thinking about cutting it short several times.

Gear: shorts, short tech T, head band, sunscreen, sunglasses, water pack
