Notes

Cloudy, misty, but warm, 57 deg. Bob is off the rest of this week and next. Rained hard overnight so decided to run the roads and start getting my legs back in shape for road running. Did the Black Bridge loop. Tried to keep the pace up at slightly uncomfortable. It felt like a pretty hard effort and I had to really focus. Legs felt ok and right hamstring was good too. My shoulders and arms were pretty sore and I had to shake them out quite a bit, especially the last few miles. Took the first entrance to the high school and went to the end of Somerset St. then backed off on the pace. Ran through the old neighborhood and stopped to talk to Dick and John Ross for awhile. Hadn’t seen Dick since we moved. Took off again and turned up Porter West to Penobscot. Ran down to Maine Ave across to Franklin and down to the bridge. Came through downtown past Rite Aid to make it 8 ½. Good run, nothing really sore after. Hamstring ok.
