Notes
Sunny and cold. Riverlands for a run below 20 deg. for the advent square. There was an icy crust on top of the snow. I was worried about the parking lot but it was plowed and better than the other day. Decided to do the first 3 miles of the race course and take a picture of the bridge for the advent square. A snow machine had ridden up and down the main trail but they did it when it was wet and messed it up in a bunch of places. Had to break trail once I got on the singletrack. When I stepped on my tracks from Tuesday and broke through the sharp edge was cutting into the top of my foot when I pulled it out of the snow. It was better breaking through the virgin snow. Stopped at the bridge to take a picture. Had to keep my phone in the back of pack to keep the battery warm. Felt ok going back. It was work but my legs felt ok. Good run.
Gear: Nike tights, grey W2B long T, jacket, warm head band(shed), gloves, water pack.
