Notes
Cloudy, 28, a little windy. Ran by myself, not enough time to do a trail run so I decided to run to the high school and back through the neighborhood to make it 6 miles. Went up on Penobscot and down to the high school that way. Looped around the parking lot and went up to Somerset, path was pretty icy. Instead of going back up to Penobscot, I turned down to Hancock and ran all the way to 4 corners, then back up to Somerset and all the way back to the turn up to Penobscot. Ran Penobscot, cut over on Maine Ave to Franklin and back to the mill. Ran a moderate pace, hard at times. My legs were feeling yesterday’s run, worked hard to keep the pace from dropping off too much. Good run. Snow, sleet, freezing rain coming for tomorrow will mess up the roads. They were clear and dry today. Hot when I got back. Overdressed I think, could’ve gone with a short sleeve shirt.
Gear: pants, long tech T, Brooks jacket, water pack, warm headband, gloves, on and off.
