Notes

Sunny, very windy, but not cold, 58 deg.F Ran the Credit Union loop. Decided to run it clockwise with the wind at my back on Harlow hill and in my face coming back on Rte. 2. Legs felt kinda tired starting out and I was a little worried how I would feel on the hills. Tried to keep a moderate pace. Worked pretty hard on the big climb and had a good pace going, backed off a little on the way down the backside. Once into the little dip, out of the wind, the sun was really warm. Climbed the next hill also at a good pace and kept it up all the way to Rte. 2. Turning into the wind slowed me down, it was really strong. Kept the pace moderate and started to tire a little by the time I got to the bridge. Pushed hard up to 108. Stopped on the big turn to pick up a DOT sign that had blown over into the road. Once I got to Rite Aid, I knew I was going to be short of 6 miles so I went back across the bridge and down by the Eagles. I still had to do a loop around the parking lot to get to 6. Good run, legs felt better than I thought they would.

Gear: shorts, short tech T, headband, sunglasses, water pack.
