i think whoever said "comfortable hard" put it best. i definitely felt the 3:55 early in the workout by the end, but for the first 3-4 i didn't feel like i was pushing myself too hard. it just felt natural. the only problem i had was that my group runs so different than i do...megan finished the first 3 intervals a good distance behind me, but then at the end she blows me out of the water. i sort of felt like i was just running by myself for the first 3. but it was ok, i felt fine. it was just weird since all last year i had jenn or jayme right next to me in every workout to push me.
