8m w/3-4 tempo. 2 miles easy to warm up, knee was starting to ache a little, continued easy over the third mile and began to increase pace to tempo, pain was increasing in the knee. stopped at 3.25 to stretch. pushing around kneecap eases pain. resumed at 8:20 pace and increased to 8:00 and pain began to subside, continued between 7:40 and 8:10 pace for 3 miles with little discomfort on the knee.
