probably the slowest 3 miles i've ever ran, but at least i did it without stopping. i was aiming for 13 mm - that's my new plan, to go SO slowly that i can build up my distance again, and just worry about speed later - but i guess its okay if i need it even slower than planned, at this point. i really need to rework my expectations - given how bad i've been all summer, this was a good run. i'm hoping part of the reason i struggled was because i had a chocolate croissant this morning, which probably knocked my blood sugar down - i inhaled a nectarine as soon as i got home, whereas normally i'm not interested in eating for at least an hour after running.
