ran a mile at 11:50 pace, walked .7, ran a mile back somehow at a 10:25 pace (did pick it up towards the end). no idea how i managed that in this heat, except that i wasn't out there too long, and i was trying what i've picked up so far from the chi running book -- felt weird, but maybe they're on to something. knee felt absolutely fine, although it was on dirt (the flatter faster trail). also i think there is something wrong with me, given how much i like sweating.
