Notes
I don't think I maintained a consistent form throughout this run and it felt a little forced. Wasn't as fluid as recent runs and my knees were bothering me a bit. The cold seemed colder today for some reason. It wasn't super windy, but the cold was like penetrating. Ah well. Splits as follows:
Mile 1: 9:20
Mile 2: 8:56
Mile 3: 8:42
Mile 4: 8:53
Mile 5: 9:01
Mile 6: 8:52
Mile 7: 8:32
Looks like the lack of consistent form/quality contributed to a lack in consistent pacing as well. See what I can do tomorrow on long run to maintain a 9:30 - 10:00 minute pace consistently, hopefully closer to 10:00.
Today's run is the official end of Week 1 of 18 in GCM training. I'll start following the Higdon Intermediate II plan more closely starting tomorrow with Week 2.
