Tough, but fun and well-supported race. Thought there would be mainly rough hills at miles 2 - 3 then beast at 5 - 6, but most of the course thereafter, and throughout, to some degree was fairly hilly to the point that it didn't offer much recovery time, if any. Could have played it smarter... Eat poorly last night (pizza buffet), was not completely unloaded this morning, went out too aggressively with Dave Bassett and let him go at mile 3, and did not run the hills conservatively enough so, I had to walk a few times in the race. Still pleased with my race performance overall though given those negatives and having a race goal of an overall pace of 8 - 8:15 m/m. :)
