Did a "sweat test" to determine (in ideal conditions) how much sweat I lose in one hour. I took my weight before and after the run to detemine pounds of sweat lost. I lost a total of two pounds in the one hour. That means that for every hour of running, I should be taking in at least 32 ounces of liquid to replace what I am losing. 32 ounces is approximately 1.5 bottles of water.
1 hour = 2 lbs = 32 ounces
