Ran a new route today. Instead of turning onto the canal north of Northern, I stayed on Central until I got to the base of North Mountain. When I reached the end of Central (uphill), I stretched out my calves, and turned around facing the city to see a beautiful view of the city. Amazing how green certain parts of Phoenix really are. Thank you God for spurring me on to change my route this morning. Legs felt good; was a little worried do this many miles this early, but just listened to how my body felt during the run. All in all, very good run today.
