I felt good starting out, but decided to back off and not complete workout due to lingering issue with my calf (soleus) which actually felt like more of a tendon issue today (a bit lower and more on the outside). I warmed up with Dana for about 2 miles, including drills, and then we both attempted our first 1600m. I finished in 6:55 and actually felt pretty good everywhere except the lower leg. Decided to just run easy the rest of the way so I wouldn't aggravate it further. Not sure what is going on, but I think it makes sense to rest and maybe pool run for a couple days.
