Notes
Much better on pace! I noticed a handful of times throughout the latter half of this run that I was picking up the pace so I forced myself to slow down each time. This is a great pace for this distance at this point of training!
I felt pretty shitty in the respiratory/nasal areas. Constant nose drips, saliva build up in throat.
Upper feat bones/tendons felt pretty bad early in the run, there was a consistent dull pain.
I didn't think I'd make it 5 miles at this point nor should have tried so I made this run 3.5 rather than the originally planned 5miles.
If pain continues I will feel compelled to lighten the mile work this week maybe run around 8-10 total as this is not a good
type of pain to have, good news is my legs are feeling more spring than they have in a long time so I know by experience that's a good sign of finally getting into shape.
Keep in mind this week to lighten the load if need be, just keep up a solid running routine this next 4 days and keep it light and slow, it's still the beginning of this trial period. All that matters is I make it through this in better shape than before.
