Focused on keeping HR under 145. Gel at mile 5, 10, 15, 20. Started drinking flat coke after half. Also started chicken broth after half. Couldn't eat pretzels.
Walked 20-30 steps at each aid station, got good drinks of water/coke. Kept same pace thru last 3-4 miles, but felt like I was speeding up because many/most were walking or running really slowly.
Finish was unforgettable.
